Higby’s is once again showing their endless support for our aggie youth. For as long as anyone can remember, Higby’s Country Feed has been supporting the youth of Solano, Yolo and Sacramento Counties at the Jr. Livestock Auctions. And for 30 years, they’ve supported Bids for Kids.
Carrying on this long-time support are Scott and Nicole Hulbert, new owners of Higby’s. Although new owners, they are not new to Higby’s. Scott has been a familiar face and the “go to guy” there for 22 years. Both Scott and Nicole grew up raising fair animals and know how hard these kids work at raising their project animals.

When asked why he supports Bids for Kids, Scott replied, “I love how they (B4K) get more people and businesses involved in supporting the kids. It’s a great program that reward kids for their hard work and recognize them for their character.” And appropriately, Higby’s is the sponsor of the Bids for Kids Character Counts Award.

This is Higby’s fourth year giving $2,500 as a Supreme Grand Champion Sponsor; putting them in the “B4K $10,000 Club.” Check out the custom “10k” hat sported by Scott.

Bids for Kids is grateful for Higby’s 30 years of support and to Scott and Nicole for continuing a philosophy of fostering character in our youth.
